August 27, 1918 — July 23, 2014

Albany – Reverend Dr. Minnie L. Uddybach-Burns, 95, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2014 after a brief illness. Born on August 27, 1918 in Adel, Georgia, to the late Mae Etta Kellogg-Williams and Hazes Uddybach, she spent her childhood in Plant City, Florida.

Minnie was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Dr. George L. Burns and three grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Willie Chavers Jr. of Albany, NY; daughter, Betty Burns (Rory) of Albany, GA; a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, a host of relatives, god-children, spiritual and church family, and loving friends.

Viewing will be Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at the Universal Baptist Church, 25 Washington St., Saratoga Springs, NY. Final Viewing will be Thursday July 21, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Ave. Colonie, NY with the funeral commencing at 11 a.m.
