Minnonnah Alaxanian
September 10, 1924 — March 28, 2013
Minnonnah Alaxanian, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Mar 28, 2013 at Eddy Village Green. She was born in Albany, NY to the late James and Thelma Luther.
Minnonnah loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, James Alaxanian and her grandson Scott.
She is survived by her Daughter, Monica (Mike) Bauerschmidt; her grandchildren Cindy (Mike) Gile, Jim (Meg) Maurer, Kurt (Chris) Bauerschmidt and Kris (Yoshie) Bauerschmidt. She is the cherished great grandmother of David, Sho, Brent, Ben, Evelyn, Lauren, Mason, Nina, Chase and Skylar. She is also survived by one great great granddaughter Brianna and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Eddy Village Green for all of their care and compassion given to Minnonnah, especially the staff at house 3.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Health Foundation, 2224 Burdett Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 c/o Eddy Village Green, 421 Columbia St Cohoes, NY 12047 House 3 in Minnonnah's memory.
Funeral service for Minnonnah will be on Tuesday at 12:00 pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
