Miriam Mero

POESTENKILL – Miriam Mero, 77, of Poestenkill, passed away on Friday April 13, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Watervliet and was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Kachidurian. Miriam was predeceased in 2008 by her husband Charles G. Mero Sr.

Miriam had enjoyed bowling, bingo, casinos, bird watching, scratch offs and spending time with her family at their camp.

She is the beloved mother of Sharon (Greg) King, Chuck (Kim) Mero, Mary (Scott) Whitney, Thomas Mero (Rosie), Anthony Mero (Nicole) and the late Donald Mero and Patricia Mero. She is the sister of Anne Charles of Montgomery, TX and the late Dorothy, Jeanette, Lucy, James, Leo, George and Adam. Miriam is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Graveside services will be Thursday at 12 noon at Saratoga National VA Cemetery.
