Monserrate Ferrer

Monserrate Ferrer 93, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully in her home.

She is now resting with her father, Marcelino Ferrer deceased at 109 yrs old and mother, Delores Ferrer at 69 yrs old.

She was the oldest survivor of 16 siblings. Followed by , Angel Ferrer, Theresa Ferrer, Glady Lebron-Ferrer and Virginia Ferrer.

In 1940's, she moved from Puerto Rico to New York City. She had 13 children. Out of 13, there are 7 survivors. Maria Escalera, Carlos Escalera, Jesus Garcia, Martha Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Evelyn Garcia and Jose Garcia.

She also has 24 Grandchildren: Jose Avila, Belinda Ramos, Nilsa Ramos, Lisa Escalera, Carlos Escalera, Maria Escalera, Jesus Manuel Garcia, Tony Garcia, Monserrate Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Anthony Garcia, George Morales, Judy Morales, Marie Vincenty, Mikey Vincenty Jr, roseanne Musucci-Garcia, Raymond Paul Garcia, Stephanie Garcia, Zachary Gil, Maria Garcia, Orelia Garcia, Lena Garcia, Raymond Garcia Jr and Roxanne Garcia.

She was blessed with 52 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a loving friend. She was a very strong woman. She was the PATRIOT of the family. She will be missed by her love ones. Her best words was "I'm KIKING". She loved playing Bingo, Casino, cards, dominoes, trouble and Scratch offs. Her favorite stores to shop was Boscows, Woolworth and Walmart. She also loved to travel.
