COLONIE- Morris Epstein, 70, passed away peacefully at AMCH on March 30th after a long illness.
Born in Rochester he had lived in the Capital District most of his life and was the son of Max and Rose Berman Epstein. Morris retired in 2010 after 39 years working for the NYS Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped Business Enterprise Program, most recently out of building 8 at the NYS Campus. He was a member of the American Blind Bowlers Association and the Capital Region Blind Bowlers League and Lions Club.
Survivors include his sister Esther, 3 step children, several grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his loving wife Judy, beloved Aunt Bell, parents and siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Saturday April 14th at 11A.M. in Memory Garden Cemetery, Colonie. A memorial reception will follow at 22 Tattersall Lane in Colonie. There will be no calling hours. Those who wish may make donations in Morrie's memory to The Capital District Blind Golf League or The Lions Foundation at Albany.
