Mulchand Daljit

Mulchand Daljit, aged 63, passed away on April 21, 2024. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mulchand was born on November 12, 1960 in Canje Berbice (Canefield Settlement), Guyana where he spent his formative years. He went on to attend high school. Throughout his life, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for caring for his family and for helping others. But more than anything, Mulchand, was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children, and family member. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced.

In his free time, Mulchand enjoyed being with and connecting with his family and friends and was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others. He was an active member of the Vaishnava community.

Mulchand is survived by his loving wife, Normaline, his children, Navin and Sabrina, his mother Betty and late father Daljit, his brothers Vico, Khemraj, Chico and Boi, his grandchildren Lakeram, Krish and Shreya, his son-in law Marvin and daughter-in-law Savitri, his six nephews and six nieces and four sister-in-laws. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6PM-9PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 9AM.
