MIDDLE GROVE- Muriel (Skeets) Anna Thurman, 87, passed away on July 15, 2011 at the Daughters Of Sarah Nursing Home.
Muriel was born in Staatsburg, NY on August 22, 1923 to Albert Stanley & Anna Elizabeth Crusius. She was a stay at home mom who enjoyed spending her days watching her grandkids. She loved growing up on Sacandaga Lake on the summer resort owned by her parents. She also was at her happiest while riding on a motorcycle.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents & Grandson Nicholas Adam Gizzarelli.
She is survived by her 4 children Linda and husband Dennis Monaco of Zephyrhills, FL, Anthony Gizzarelli of Largo, FL, Jeffery Thurman of Albany, NY & Tracy and husband Rick Shoemaker of Berne, NY. Her 7 grandchildren Duane Monaco, Anthony Gizzarelli III, Meaghan Gizzarelli, Christopher & wife Nicole Thurman, Heather Brooks, Jamie Bechard & Candace Cook and 2 Great-grandchildren Tabitha Monaco & Austin Brooks.
