Albany: Nancy Ursula Buckley-Welsh, 74, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 12, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Nancy was the daughter of the late Nicholas Buckley and Ursula Barry. Nancy was the devoted wife to William Welsh.
Nancy loved to travel, adored cats and nature, and was an unknown poet. Nancy's greatest love however were her children and grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her son, Richard Rogers, Jr. (Jodi), Daughter Jodie Longton; her stepsons William and Brian Welsh; her grandchildren, Emily, Rebecca, and Sophia Rogers, Anthony, Alexis, and Bobby Welsh; her niece Kimberly Ferguson (Eric); her siblings Cindy Buckley LaRoe (Ken), Kelley Buckley-Keefe, Kevin Buckley (Christine); and many loving relatives and friends.
Nancy is predeceased by her infant daughter, Tina Marie Longton and her brother, Nick Buckley (Diane).
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at a later date to be determined by family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nancy's memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, memphis, TN 38105
