Nancy D. Chaney

ALBANY - Nancy D. Chaney, 63, of Albany, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 17, 2010 in Raleigh, NC. Born in Halifax, VA to the late Martha and Willie Harris, Sr. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Stanford Chaney.
Nancy is survived by one son, Louis S. Chaney of Albany, and two daughters, Michelle McGill of Albany and Bettina McGill of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Dorothy Chaney and Louise Ware both of Albany; three brothers, Sylvester White of Jamestown, NY, Willie Harris, Jr. and Herman Harris both of Albany; three aunts, Barbara Womack and Virginia Lester both of Halifax, VA., and Sue Alice Johnson of Georgetown, SC; two uncles, Armstead Lee Harris of Albany and Luther Irby of Chesapeake, VA; one brother-in-law, Frank Ware, Sr. of Albany; 27 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
