Nancy A. Devoe
January 4, 1953 — May 15, 2024
LANSINGBURGH - Nancy A. DeVoe, 71, of Lansingburgh, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, after a lengthy illness.
Nancy was born in Albany to Helen and James Lawyer. Nancy is survived by her "Sissy" Donna (Alex) Conyer of Pittsford and Albany, Mildred Almy of Schenectady, and Bonnie Lawyer of Pittsford. She is also survived by her loving friend, Rosemary Smead of West Sand Lake.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Charles "Chuckie" DeVoe.
Nancy's path of persistence, strength and determination helped guide her through life's difficult journey. Nancy loved her family with all of her heart and soul. Nancy also was a participant in the Eddy Senior Care Pace Program, who greatly assisted her the last several years to live independently and proudly in her own apartment. We wish to sincerely thank all the staff at St. Peter's ICU for their compassion and care.
A private memorial service will be held by her sisters at a later date.
