Nancy P. Golden Smithrovitch, 69, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital after a short illness.
She is survived by her loving husband, Peter Smithrovitch of Latham; son, Eric Golden; daughter, Kelly Golden; grandson, AJ Golden; sister, Anne Santino (Charles) and brother, William Costigan (Carolyn).
She is predeceased by her first husband, Alan G. Golden and her parents, William and Maria Costigan.
Nancy graduated from Shaker High School and Maria College. She worked as a Secretary for many years at the NYS Department of Health.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends, trips to the Jersey shore, gardening and boating.
Visitation will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Private time for the family will be held at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow in Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie.
