Waterford- Nancy J. Huyck, 86, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Nancy was the daughter of the late Raymond Smith and Elizabeth Noll. Nancy was the wife to Charles A. Huyck.
Nancy was a wonderful mother to her four children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved her animals. Those that knew her best were often told by her that she prefers her animals to people.
Nancy is survived by her children, Darlene (Perry) Tomlin, Laurie (Edward) Kuscsik; Mark (Rebecca) LaRose; grandchildren, Joshua Tomlin and Meagan Swart, John Kuscsik, Nick Barone, Trever LaRose, Emily LaRose and Hailee LaRose; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Swart, Emma Swart, Baylee Swart, Logan Tomlin, and Desmond Barone; and many loving relatives and friends.
Nancy is predeceased by her son, Richard M. Fitzgerald; her husband, Richard V. Fitzgerald; her husband, Harrison LaRose; and her brother, Raymond Smith.
As per Nancy's wishes, there will be no services held at this time, there will be something private for her family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 or her church she loved to attend for many years, Christian & Missionary Church, 275 Schodack Dr., Castleton on Hudson, NY 12033.
