Nancy Jane Mauro
October 12, 1942 — November 15, 2017
Schenctady-Nancy J. Mauro, 75 years old, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on November 15th 2017 at 8am after battling cancer.
Nancy always loved helping others. She worked as a nurses aid and teachers aid for many years. She also supported animal rescue and adoption. She was active in the Stanford Heights Fire Department ladies auxiliary and volunteered as a schedule coordinator for the NYS truck driving competition for 18 years.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ralph Sr.,her son, Ralph Jr., and daughters, Bernadette and Alison.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205, on Monday November 20th 2017, from 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 14 Penn Plz Ste 1615, New York, NY 10122.
