Nancy E. Sawczak
September 12, 1935 — March 31, 2017
COLONIE-Nancy E. Sawczak passed away peacefully on March 31, 2017 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn with her family by her side.
She was born daughter of the late Elroy F. and Martha (Hardie) Becker.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and she will be deeply missed by those who loved her. She mostly enjoyed time with family especially her grandchildren, they were Nancy's pride and joy.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edward P. Sawczak, Sr. ; her children, Edward P. (Lara) Sawczak, Jr., Richard S. (Carol) Sawczak; grandchildren, Richard M. Sawczak, Alexandra I. Sawczak, Michael E. Sawczak; sisters, Nora (Eugene) Garley; brother-in-law, Richard Leffler and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Louise (William) Hickey, Carol M. Becker, Mary Ellen Leffler.
Funeral services for Nancy will be private. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
