GUILDERLAND- Nancy Schillinger, age 54, passed away suddenly at home August 4, 2021.
She was born in Queens, NY, the daughter of John and Jean Schillinger.
Nancy was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Hauf.
She was self employed as a hairdresser.
She loved spending time with her precious son Joseph. She loved having garage sales and working outside with her dad. She loved going on vacations to Florida with her parents. She enjoyed shopping and going to the pool with her mom.
Nancy was one of a kind and had a big heart.
Nancy is survived by her son, Joseph Lassonde, Jr.; her parents: John and Jean Schillinger; companion, James Fallen (Buck); two sisters: Cathy Schillinger-Magony and Diane Corbett; two brothers: John Schillinger and Edward Schillinger; her cat, Tabby. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Walter Hoving Home, P.O. Box 194, 40 Walter Hoving Road, Garrison, NY 10524.
