Cohoes- NancyAnn Cozzy, 60, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 surrounded by family after battling cancer.
She was the daughter of Lawrence Franchini and Anna (Bosco), and the loving wife of Richard Cozzy.
As a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother, Nancy enjoyed devoting her time to her family and friends as much as her garden and card games. As a strong Christian woman, she was the pillar of both her family and her community, and her love and wisdom will be missed more than words can say.
Nancy was a compassionate, generous, and caring woman who shared her spirit with the world. Though she has left a hole that no one can fill, her memory and kind-hearted nature will carry on in her surviving family: her husband Richard, her daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Nolles, her son Stephen (Katelyn) Cozzy, and her daughter Courtney (Brian) Cozzy; her loving grandchildren: Amaya Cozzy, Jamison Cozzy, Kayla Cozzy, Hudson Nolles, and Colden Nolles; and her brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
