ALBANY - Nannie B. Motley, 103, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2013 after a brief illness.
Mother Motley was a long-time member of the Mount Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
Mother Motley was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Green Motley; her son and daughter-in-law, Maston (Elizabeth) Livingston and her granddaughter, Jill Livingston.
She leaves to mourn her son, Callie (Helen) Livingston, Albany; her daughter, Dorothy Ingram, Valatie; a step-daughter, Bertha (Alfonse) Hilton; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Ingram, Jr. and Sherry L. Ingram, both of Albany and Timmy B. (Susan) Ingram and Jan (Gary) Pollard, both of Charlotte, NC; 2 great-grandchildren; an adopted great-grandchild; 10 great-great grandchildren; 2 great-great-great grandchildren; five nephews; and her Mount Olive Church Family.
Homegoing services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 236 North Pearl Street, Albany, Reverend Willie J. Stovall, Sr., Pastor.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing at the church from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Entombment in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
