ALBANY – Dr. Nathan Feltman, D.D.S., died Sunday, March 5, 2006. He was born in Albany on July 27, 1914 and was the son of the late Jacob and Lillian Feltman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater and remained in the Army Reserves retiring as a full Colonel. Dr. Feltman was a graduate of New York University School of Dentistry and practiced in Albany from 1946 until the mid 1980's. He served as president of the New York State Dental Society in 1968 and was a fellow of the American College of Dentistry. Dr. Feltman is survived by his daughter, Margaret B. Watkins and her husband, Curtis B. Watkins of Newark, DE. He is the grandfather of Jennifer (Paul) Robinson of Fairfax, VA, Gregory, Nathan (Leah) Marcus and Karen Watkins of Newark, DE. He is the great-grandfather of Sydney, Alex and Evan Robinson. Also survived by Mrs. Theresa King and the King Family of Albany, NY whose love and kindness over the years will always be remembered. Dr. Feltman was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Barber Feltman, his son, Richard and brothers Alex and William.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Avenue). There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Beth Emeth Cemetery, Loudonville.
