Nellie Mary Rowe

Latham- Nellie Mary Rowe, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Charles Woodard and Hazel Patterson. Nellie was the devoted wife to the late Floyd Rowe, Sr., they were married over 30 years.

After graduating high school, Nellie went on to become a fashion model. Nellie worked for the Paris Company in Albany, New York for many years. Later in her life Nellie devoted her time providing compassionate care to many elderly clients.

Nellie enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. Nellie cherished the time that she was able to spend with her grandchildren, doing many arts and crafts projects as well as going on long cool night drives to get ice cream.

Nellie is survived by her children, Brenda (the late Fredrick) Noel, Debra A. Rowe, Floyd J. (Crystal) Rowe, Jr., Sandra L. Rowe; grandchildren; Paige (Mike) Allen, Floyd Rowe, III, Peyton Michaud, Hunter Rowe, Nathan Rowe, and Aiden Rowe; great-grandchildren, Zoey Allen, "my little girl" Sierra Ryan, and Bellamy Rowe; beloved cats, Benny, woo, Boobear, and Toby; faithful dogs, Nico and Nadia; many nieces, nephews, and friends

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.
