ROTTERDAM – Nelson E. Bihler, 49, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn.
Nelson was born on July 8, 1957 in Albany and was the son of the late Nelson F. and Marilyn A. Miller Bihler. He worked as a bricklayer and mason for the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers of Local Union # 2 in Albany for over 22 years. He was a member of the Rotterdam Elks # 2157. He enjoyed golfing, watching NASCARS and football.
Nelson is survived by his daughter, Melissa N. Bihler; his sisters, Debra (Mark) Smith and Patricia Bihler; his companion, Cindy Sitterly and her children, Richard, Jason and Megan Sitterly; and nieces, Jenna and Jennifer and one nephew, Tucker.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be on Saturday prior to the service from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
