Nelson Raybine

Nelson E. "Gene" Raybine, 58, died peacefully,Tuesday August 23, 2011, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 15, 1952, in Burlington, VT, son of the late Arlene (Moore) and Emery Raybine. Gene was educated in The Philip Schuyler School Systems and amongst many careers, was a self employed auto mechanic.
Loving Husband to Laura (Rockenstire) Raybine of Cohoes; Devoted Father to Annie (Brian) Livingston of Guilderland; Jeanne (Vincente Ferrera) Raybine-Ferrera of Schenectady; Maryann Trammell of South Carolina; Steven (April) Byerwalters of Clifton Park; Laura Ann Raybine of Schenectady; Cheryle Lynn (Mike) Weddle of Schenectady; Ricky (Bettyann) Rockenstire of Troy and Raymond Duell of Schenectady. Cherished Brother of Emery (Diane) Raybine Jr of Cohoes; Catherine Fantroy and Michael Raybine of Albany. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers
Gene had a fond love of motorcycles, country music, playing the guitar, singing and maintaining his fish aquariums. He will be sadly missed by his dog and best friend, "Bootsy".
Relatives and Friends may call on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 3-6pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY. A memorial Service will follow at 6pm.
