Clarksville - Nevada "Vada" Danckert, 91, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Nevada was the daughter of the lateAlfred H. and Lana Evans Morrison. Nevada was the devoted wife to the late Albert A. Danckert.
Vada graduated from Denison High School and joined the United States Air Force as part of the WAC stationed in Drew Field, Florida. While fighting for our country, Vada met the love of her life, Albert, and they got married on December 31, 1944 in the midst of serving our country during World War II.
Albert and Vada spent the next 65 wonderful years together and had nine children, namely Lana (Reed Settle) Padelsky, Judy (Bob) Appleby, Joan (Jay) Wyche, Rita (Marty) Hogan, Mary Collins, Paul (Amy) Danckert, the late Tony Danckert, Krina Danckert, and Karl (Maria) Danckert. Vada is also survived by 16 grandchildren, with one deceased; 15 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray (Patsy) and Jimmie (Peggy).
Vada also had five other brothers and one sister who are now deceased.
Vada's family was her life. Her children were all raised in Clarksville, NY since the 1950's. They were very active in the Onesquathaw Fire Company and the Bethlehem Elks Club 2233. She provided 32 years of dedicated service for the Agway Feed Division in Guilderland Center.

Vada was cherished by her family and will live on in their hearts forever.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 . A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Ave, Albany.
Donations may be made in Vada's memory to the Onesquathaw Volunteer Fire Department.
