Nicholas Praga

VOORHEESVILLE- Nicholas Salvatore Praga, 29, passed away on Saturday August 12, 2006 at the Inn of Community Hospice at St. Peters Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Nick was born April 27, 1977 . He graduated from Clayton A. Bouton High School in Voorheesville and went on to become a very gifted and talented electrician. Most recently, he was employed by IBEW Local 236 in Albany.
Nick is the cherished son of Carole and Salvatore Praga; stepson of Marilyn Praga and Bob Griffin. He is the loving brother of Chevi Reittinger, Gina Gifford, Angelina Downey, Tony Praga, Kathy Powers, Dione Quinn, Salvatore Praga Jr. and Paula Cook. He is the devoted brother in law of Jimmy Reittinger, Christopher Downey, Seth Powers, Len Niski, Chad Quinn and Diana Flansburg. He is the doting uncle of Katie and Lilie Reittinger, Matthew Downey, Caleb Quinn, Kaitlin Cook, Anthony Praga and the late Olivia Jayne Reittinger. He is the grandson of Catherine Pierce and treasured friend of Sue Flansburg. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, many dear friends and his very special dog named Kya.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 9:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Francis deSales Church, Maria Drive Loudonville at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
