Colonie- Nicholas D. Seeberger Jr., 82, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Saturday, April 4, 2017. He was the son of the late Nicholas D. & Viola Seeberger.
Nicholas worked for New York State as an electrician for 23 years before retiring. He was Vice President of the CSEA Local 660. Nicholas was dedicated to the House of the Lord and the Ministries of the Church such as: The Love Center, repairs, men's ministry, choir, prayer meetings, and Bible study. He was also aboard member of Capital Church formally Colonie Christian Life Center. Nicholas was the Boy Scout leader of Troop 24 and was an integral part of founding the West End Little League where he coached a number of teams. Nicholas was devoted to God, his family and the New York Mets.
Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rosemary Rossi Seeberger. In addition to his wife he is also survived by his children, Nicholas J. Seeberger (Joy), Timothy W. Seeberger (Donna), Thomas J. Seeberger and Michael A. Seeberger (Sarah) and four grandchildren, Kirsten, Morgan, Timothy and Thomas. He is also survived by his siblings, Abe Seeberger, Helen Hilton (Robert) and Edward Seeberger (Kathy) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Nicholas is predeceased by his son James Seeberger.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Capital Church, 31 Vly Road, Albany, NY 12205.
Calling hours will be held at Capital Church, 31 Vly Rd, Albany, NY 12205 on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Capital Church at 11:00am.
Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
