Nikki Tara Brooks

Brooks, Nikki T., 46, passed away November 11, 2022, at home peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones
Nikki was born September 2, 1976, in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of Miriam Bynum and the late Ernest Brooks (dec'd)

Nikki attended Albany public schools and graduated from St. Anne's Institute with a High School Diploma. She later attended EOC
where she received her (CNA) certified nursing assistance certification

Nikki loved to demonstrate her abilities in poetry, loved watching horror films, playing scrabble with her bff Pam, Nikki loved to cook, do puzzles and color with her grandchilldren and eat her watermelon. Nikki was so kindhearted and loved to be around her family.

Nikki fought long and hard, she was a strong soul with a brave heart.

Nikki is survived by her three children, Martika Brooks, Casiaha Jackson, and Tykeece Cole (Albany); four grandchildren, Tyrome Wallace (Jr),
Eternity Wallace, Culture Wallace and Grayson Wallace (Albany); her siblings, Christopher Bynum, Theresa (Aubrie) Headly, Lisa (Stephen) Daniels, Lanee Whitbeck; Roshanda (Wilton) Johnson; Ernest Brooks Jr., ErnestShay Brooks; nephews/son; Tikeem Brooks; Tyshauna Koonce; Nashana Johnson; JoShua Johnson; Ikeem Brooks. She will also be missed by her Grandmother Mary E. Bynum

She is predeceased by many uncles and aunties; shout out to her favorite cousins and everyone who helped with Nikki and the family. The family is greatly appreciative of everything they have done.

Friends may call Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 2:00 - 3:00 pm, service will be at 3:00 pm
