On December 16, 2023, Nina Elizabeth Gagnon (Mero) sadly passed away at Samaritan Hospital at the age of 62, due to a battle with an illness. Nina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She would give everything she had to anyone, in the family, that was in need.
Nina was born on August 9, 1961 in Troy, NY. She graduated from Cohoes High School in 1979 but previously attended Lansingburgh High School.
Nina loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite interests were going to the casino and traveling to try any new restaurants.
Nina is survived by her husband Richard P Gagnon; her children: Nina Wade (Gagnon), Jennifer Bussing (Gagnon), Christal Cesare (Gagnon), Robert Gagnon and Nicole Apisa (Gagnon) of Cohoes, NY; 14 grandchildren and her siblings: Glen Mero, Robert Mero Jr., George Mero, Madchen Mero, Kacey Mero.
She was predeceased by her mother, Peggy-Jean Mero, father, Robert Mero Sr., brothers Michael Mero and Shane Mero, and grandson Michael Anthony Gagnon.
It is the family's wishes that no memorial or funeral service will be held.
