Noel G. Stewart, Sr.

Noel George Stewart, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 16, 2022 suddenly. He was born to the late Pearl Rosetta (Powell) Davis and late Oscar Stewart on September 10, 1956 in Kingston, Jamaica. Noel is preceded in death by three children; Tonya Adele Stewart (daughter), Courtney Lloyd Stewart and Conrad Noel Stewart (twin sons). He was affectionately known as Nassa by many.

Noel was a Truck Driver for Nu-Car Carriers and Allied Systems as a car-carrier, where he was actively involved with his union, Teamsters AFL-CIO until his semi-retirement. He most recently worked for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District as a Bus Driver, where he was affectionately called "Mr. Noel" by the students he transported.

In his spare time, Noel enjoyed riding his Harley, biking, and hiking. He was an avid promoter of good health, nutrition, and education. His additional hobbies included photography, star-gazing, and traveling whenever possible. Noel enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and listening to music.

While Noel did not belong to any religious organization, his faith remained steadfast.

He is survived by his children, Noel George Stewart, Jr. (Joyce), Tia Aleece Stewart-Williams, and Tamara Adassa Stewart, Cesar Adrain (Honorary); his grandchildren, Noel George Stewart, III, Aleise Noelle Springle (Bill), Alexander Vaughn Williams, and Malachi James Gulley; and one great grandchild, Luca Westley Springle.

Noel held Ms. Iona McLean as his Honorary Mother. He is further survived by siblings; Yvonne (Pet) Edwards (Oris), Barbara (Faye) Barker, Clive (Boy) Brooks, Shirley (Marcia) Ritter (Bruce), Anna Marie (Dancie) McQueen (Michael Sr.), Conrad (Mocking) Davis, Courtney (Nanny) Davis (Joyce), Bonus siblings: Wesley Davis and Jackie (Stephanie) Davis Love. Nieces and Nephews: Andre Edwards, Chantel Edwards, Joanna Szabo (Lajos), Ayisha Phillips, Michelle McQueen-Bradley (Thomas), Michael McQueen Jr. (Twyla), Miguel McQueen, Terell Davis, Danielle Davis, Deidra Davis, Rayshon Davis, Roshanda Davis, Malika Davis, Miles Davis, Paulette Davis, Christopher Davis and Karl Davis. Great Nieces and Nephews: Aaron, Amira, Anaya, Grace, Gabrille, Journey, Musai, Tanisha, and Stacey.

Funeral Services will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205 on December 29th. Private Family viewing at 12:30 pm. Public viewing will be 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Memorial Service will start promptly at 2:30 pm.
