Nora Wilson Davis

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Nora Wilson Davis, 60, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 11, 2010. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Christine Moran. Nora resided in Guilderland for over twenty years before moving to Saratoga 10 years ago. She was a 1967 graduate of Vincentian Institute and attended Hudson Valley Community College where she earned her Associates Degree. Nora was a secretary for the Guilderland Insurance Agency for 14 years and, more recently, at Lifestyles woman's clothing store in Saratoga Springs for the past ten years. Nora is the beloved wife of Don Davis. She is the devoted mother of Ryan Wilson and Brent Wilson, both of Clifton Park and Matthew (Molly) Wilson of St. Louis, MO. She is the stepmother of Deborah (Michael) Amedio of Latham. Nora is the cherished grandmother of Sophia and Adalyn Wilson. Also surviving is her faithful canine companion, Magoo as well as many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Guilderland. Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
