Nordin Sahagian
November 24, 1947 — March 28, 2014
Albany – Nordin (Nord) J. Sahagian, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday March 28, 2014 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's after a long illness. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late Paul Sahagian, Sr. and Jane Cain.
Nord was predeceased by his brother Paul Sahagian Jr. and his sister June Reno.
Nord is survived by his sister-in-law Joyce Sahagian, his favorite aunt Min Gifford, his nephews; Gregory Sahagian, Michael Sahagian, David (Regina) Sahagian, and his niece Karen (Sean) Roche. He is also survived by a great niece and three great nephews as well as his cousins and friends.
Nord was retired and enjoyed traveling, gardening and was an avid Yankee fan. Nord's family would like to thank the staff at St. Peter's Oncology and Community Hospice. The family would like to also extend a special thank you to his lifelong and supportive friends Tony and Phil.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family.
