Albany- Noreen Lawlor Clemens, 62, passed away on Saturday, July 4th, 2009, at the Hospice Inn, St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by loved ones who joined hands at her bedside, as she ascended into the gates of Heaven.
Born in Tralee, County Kerry Ireland, Noreen was the daughter of her late parents, Patrick and Mary. Noreen devoted her life to her children, Charles Patrick Clemens, of Coral Springs, FL, and Mollie Kathleen Clemens, of Albany. She devoted her working hours at the Center for Disability Services, also in Albany.
Noreen was survived by her siblings Mary Seymour, Patrick Lawlor, Séan Patrick Lawlor, and Brendan Lawlor, while predeceased by the late Ann Evelyn Whinnery.
Noreen was also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and lifelong friends that evoked her passion for living.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Pius X Church at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
