Noreen Nardacci

Nardacci, Noreen - Noreen Nardacci, 72, of Watervliet passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. Born in Troy, NY she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Bette (Dunn) Nardacci. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and continued her education at Hudson Valley Community College evening division while working for the State of New York from where she retired from the Office of the State Comptroller in 2006, after 38 years of service. Following her retirement, she enjoyed meeting family and friends for breakfast, lunch, or dinner; shopping at her consignment shops and spending time on Sacandaga Lake with her dedicated care giver and cherished friend for over 50 years, Bob Bubonia.
Noreen's family would like to thank Dr. Jessica Chapman and Dr. Khoa Ngo for their kindness, support, and encouragement; Dr. Ajaz Khan, Dr. Ronnie Luyun, and Dr. Brian Steckel for their care and honesty; and her wonderful comforting nurses Audrey, Jean, and Mary Anne.
Noreen is survived by her dedicated caregiver and wonderful friend Bob Bubonia, who for the last three years watched over Noreen tirelessly, his two daughters Jane Wieder (Steven), and their sons Alexander and Stevie; Janice Bubonia, and her daughter Cameron Clarke; Noreen's sister, Denise McCullough; her nephew and his family, Luke and Carissa, their two daughters Harper and Elle; her niece Jolene and her children, Celeste and Brenden. Her cousins Marge (Joe) Rafferty of Orlando, FL; Gere Winters (Gorde - deceased) from Rensselaer; and Julie (Henry) Ebert of Dover, FL and many valued friends and neighbors whose prayers, cards, and daily phone calls were a source of support and encouragement.
Services will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, on Saturday, July 30th at 10am. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.
