Norma Jean Culbertson

Norma "Jean" Culbertson , 69, entered Heaven on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters with her loving family by her side.
Jean was the daughter of the late Sidney and Gwendolyn Gibson.
Jean is the devoted wife of over 53 years to Kester E. Culbertson.
She enjoyed going to garage sales and working around her garden.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family. She devoted her life to her family.
Jean is survived by her children, Richard (Michelle) Culbertson and Lisa Michelle Culbertson. She is the adored grandmother of Megan and Kaylee Culbertson. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth (Nathan) Jackson and Jackie (the late Coy) Williams, and many close family members.
The family would like to thank Buddy, Ruth, Jackie and Bootsie for all of the care and compassion given to Jean, your devotion will always be cherished in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in Jean's memory.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
