Norman L. Grounds

ALBANY-Norman L. Grounds, 85, of Albany, passed away suddenly on April 12th. Born on Sept. 16, 1928 to Ralph and Harriet Grounds. As a lifelong farmer he lived at the same address his entire life. He was an avid outdoors man, who enjoyed telling stories to his family and friends, taking scenic rides and stopping at his favorite diners. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rose, daughters Linda and Carol, grandchildren, Crystal, Stephanie, Jason and great granddaughter Olivia, his sister Eleanor (Richard) Winne and several nieces and nephews. . Preceded in death by his brother Ralph (Ella) Grounds.
Calling hours will be Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie from 10am to 11am. Interment will be at Memory Gardens.
