LAMBERT, NORMAND P.
Born in Lowell, Mass. On September 20, 1936. He was the son of the late Dollard J. Lambert and Henriette M. (Longval) Lambert. He was the husband of the late Marie E. (Bettencourt) Lambert for 35 years.
He worked for the Courier Citizens Co. of Lowell, Mass and in 1964 transferred to their New York facility in Albany until 1966. He then worked for Williams Press in Menands until 1968 when he returned to Courier Corp in Latham NY until the facility closed in 1981. He also worked for The Teresian House in Albany NY retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Albany Typographical Union #4 and a past president of the Colonie Central High School Football Booster Club in 1984.
He served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1962.
He is survived by his present wife Gloria (Dearstyne) Lambert. His three children Michele (Mike) Smith of Valley Falls NY, Michael (Ruthanne) Lambert of Rensselear NY and Margot (Bob) Rodgers of Marco Island, FL. His grandchildren, Nicholas, Brandon (Nicole), Gabrielle and Daniel Smith, Joshua Rodgers, Madison and Dominick Lambert and a great grandchild Makinley Rose Smith.
He was predeceased by his brother Richard E. Lambert and sister Joan S. Lambert.
As per Normand's wishes, services will be held privately by the family.
