GUILDERLAND – Olga Conklin, 97, died peacefully on July 18, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn.
Olga was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Jarosh) Kutny. Olga was a member of the Gulderland Senior Citizens, a founding member of the Huntersland Fire Department and a devoted communicant of St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic Church. Olga is fondly remembered by her family and friends for always bringing them together with her delicious meals and love.
Olga was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Ralph S. Conklin; and a daughter, Donna L. (Charles) Collins.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Doris (William Sr.) Pindar, Alice (Henry) Wielandt and Janine Conklin; grandchildren, Christine (Gregory) Erbel, William Jr. (Anne) Pindar, Karen (Dale) Wilson, Ralph Pindar, Melanie (Joseph) Amodeo; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Anthony Kutny; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday morning at 9 AM from the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.), then to St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Carmen Rd., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Middleburgh Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM.
