LATHAM – Ollie M. Regan, 84, passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her loving family and her dear friend, Ruth McNally.
Ollie was born on May 18, 1921 in Poultney, VT and was the daughter of the late John V. and Mary Kellogg Casas.
Ollie retired in 1983 from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fuller Road Fire Department and the Colonie Senior Citizens.
Ollie was predeceased by her husband, John K. Regan, in 1984 and her sister, Isabel and her brother, Paul.
Ollie is survived by her three daughters, Ollie M. (Donald) Sweet, Marge A. (George) Hotaling and Margaret E. (Nick) Iacobucci; her ten grandchildren, Christopher Regan Sweet, Gregory Regan Sweet, Jason Regan Sweet, Debra Hotaling Richards, John Hotaling, Georgianna Hotaling, Kimberly Hotaling, Donna Iacobucci Essepian, Michael Anthony Iacobucci and Denise Iacobucci Rossetti; 17 great grandchildren and her brother-in-law, Walter Regan.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. David Wolinsky, Dr. Alan Fogel, Martha Doyle, R.N. at the Albany Memorial Hospital Heart Center and the staff at Community Hospice of Albany.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael Church in Poultney, VT. Spring interment will take place at St. Raphael Cemetery in May of 2006.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road in Colonie on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
