ALBANY – Omari S. Courtwright, daughter of Robin Lee and Omar Courtwright, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. She was born in Albany on Mother's Day, May 11, 1996. Omari was currently in the 7th grade at Stephan & Harriet Myers Middle School. In addition to her parents, she also leaves to cherish her memory, her brothers and sisters: Karashawn Zania Melton, Ozias Courtwright, Ozariah Courtwright, Ramar Courtwright and Alonah Courtwright and her grandparents, Robert Lee and Ava and Ronald Courtwright. Also surviving is a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Omari was predeceased by her grandmother, Beverley Tucker.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at the Blessed Hope Worship Center (Corner of Robin St. and Central Ave.) 185 Central Ave., Albany. A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the church. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
