Pamela J. Gifford

Colonie- Pamela J. Gifford, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn Hofelich. Pamela was the devoted wife to Keith S. Gifford. They were married 63 years.

Pamela was a graduate of Bethlehem high school. In Pamela's life she was a homemaker and a devoted mom to her children where she provided them all the love and support a child could ever need. Once her children went to school, Pamela started her career where she eventually advanced to a Vault Supervisor at Key Bank until her retirement. She found many friends in her coworkers.

Pamela enjoyed spending time with her entire family. She had a fond love of shopping at Boscovs and the Christmas Tree Store. Pamela enjoyed going out to eat at restaurants with her husband. Most of all she adored the time she spent with her little dog, Sierra.

In addition to her husband, Pamela is survived by her children, Lisa (Chuck) Jones and Kimberley (the late Jack) Hemingway; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rob) O'Zavis, Keith (Craig) O'Connor, and Jack Hemingway; great-grandchildren, Wyla and Lisa O'Zavis; and nieces, a nephew, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pamela is predeceased by her sister, June Blodgett.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205 on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 9am to 11am with a funeral service to start at 11am. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Pamela's name St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
