TROY – Pamela M. Pompey, 48, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Pamela was born on February 13, 1962 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mabel (Conyers) Pompey. She received an associate's degree from HVCC in Human Services and currently was attending Bryant and Stratton College to further her education. She was a counselor for ARC in Troy. She was full of laughter and always had a smile.
Pamela is survived by her loving sons, Kamari N. Shuaib and Dajuan M. Hudson; her brother, C. Michael (Virginia) Pompey; her sisters, Joyce A. (James) June, Linda Pompey (Johnnie Gullatt), Barbara J. (Albert) Horton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria D. Pompey Moses.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Empire Christian Center, 1524 Central Ave., Colonie.
