Pamela Lynn Owens, 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Pamela was the daughter of Cecelia (Gaines) and the late Lewis Thompson.
Pamela was the devoted wife of over 21 years to James "Tim" Owens.
In addition to her husband James, Pamela is survived by her son, Jamal Hayes; four siblings; and a host of family and friends many of whom she met during her recovery of over 19 years and 8 months.
Calling hours will be held at New Jerusalem, Home of the Saved Church, 160 Sheridan Avenue, Albany, NY on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the Church. Interment will follow the service in Graceland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association - 4 Atrium Drive # 100, Albany, NY 12205
