LOUDONVILLE – Pamela (Perry) Newman, 86, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Atria Shaker Senior Living Facility after a brief illness. Born in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Clara Thomas Perry.
Pamela retired as a Real Estate Broker/Owner of PAM Realty in Watervliet. In her retirement she enjoyed spending time with family, cooking and baking and listening to music. She had a strong faith which always accompanied her throughout her long and very productive life.
Pamela was predeceased by her daughter, June Clara Riley and her sister, Dorothy Mae Poulin and her brother, Richard C. Perry.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Nicholas Newman; daughters Joyce Ellen Hayes of Union Beach, NJ and Cynthia Nicole Newman of Loudonville; brothers David (Kathy) Perry, John (Ruth) Perry, George (Barbara) Perry and Joseph Perry, grandchildren Tina L. Gonzalez and Laura A. White; six great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 150 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.
