Pamela A. Saunders

Pamela A. Saunders, 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. She was born March 3, 1949, in Schenectady to the late John and Jeannine (Coates) Lloyd. She married John R. Saunders on April 12, 1986, in Clifton Park.

She worked as a private home health aide, displaying a compassionate skill caring for others. Pam truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, shopping, decorating her home, Cadbury chocolate bars and spending time with her family. Pam enjoyed camping at Alpine Lake, Lake Champlain and spending time at the ocean in Cape Cod. Pam had a heart of gold and would go to great lengths to help those in need.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, John R. Saunders; her daughters, Cheryle Ellsworth (Dave), and Anne Gorman (Joe); her brother, Ian Lloyd (Heidi); her grandsons, Jake Ellsworth, Ben Ellsworth, Zak Ellsworth, Wyatt Gorman, William Gorman and Michael Gorman; her niece, Danielle Lloyd and nephews, Ian Pryse, Jr. Lloyd (Becca) and Trevor Lloyd.

A celebration of Pam's life will be held privately with her family and close friends. The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care given by St. Peter's Hospice. The family is especially grateful for Dr. Thomas Goodman for his dedication caring for Pam during her battle with ovarian cancer.
