ALBANY – Pasquale "Patrick" Parvana, 85, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at the Julie Blair Nursing Home.
Patrick was born on January 13, 1920 in Italy to the late George and Rosaria Caputi Parvana. He served in the US Army Air Force from 1941 to 1945 attaining the rank of Corporal.
Patrick was a hairdresser for over 40 years, starting out at the Ten Eyck Hotel, and then opened his own business at the Pine Hills Beauty Salon on No. Allen St., he then continued his career at the Orlando Beauty Salon all in Albany.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances A. (Scaligeri) Parvana of Albany, his son, George Parvana of Loudonville, his brother Joseph (Constance) Parvana of Latham, his four grandchildren, Rocco, Camille, Patricia and Michael Parvana all of Colonie, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours but all relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Friday at St. Pius X Church in Loudonville. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital in memory of Pasquale "Patrick" Parvana.
