Patricia A. Guynup

Slingerlands- Patricia A. (Stangle) Guynup, 71, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Stangle. Patricia had worked as a claims adjuster for Albany Medical Center Hospital for a number of years until her retirement. She is predeceased by her sisters, Katherine, Helene, Joan and Mary and also her brother George.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 54 years Harry Guynup of Slingerlands, her children Kenneth Guynup (Veronica) of Seattle, WA, Brian Guynup (Michele) of North Greenbush, Cyndi Marsh (Donald) of Hurley, Jeffrey Guynup (Rose) of Poestenkill and Patricia Mitchell (Craig) of Lake Katrine. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her brother John Stangle of Port St. Lucie, FL, several nieces and nephews and her dearest friends Honey Macri, Judith Pelkey and Sylvia Coleman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. John's St. Anne's Church Fourth Ave. at Franklin Street, Albany, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will be in St. John's St. Anne's Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Patricia A. Guynup.
