Patricia A. Jones

ALBANY- Patricia Ann Lizzi Jones, 69, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday August 10, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Dominick and Jane Lizzi. Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband Ron in 2003.
Pat had worked for Key Corp for several years, retiring in 1997. She was active as a PTA member and officer while raising her children. She was involved for many years with Pine Bush Little League. Pat taught CCD and volunteered at Christ the King Church for several years. She enjoyed music, playing the piano and reading. Pat loved to cook and help others in their times of need. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Pat will always be remembered as a loving daughter, a devoted and loving Wife, Mother and Grammy.
Pat is the beloved mother of Debbie (Mark) Savoca and Robert (Peggy Sloan) Jones. She is the cherished grandmother of Paul and Rachel Savoca.
The family wishes to thank all those who were part of her life over the years especially her friends and neighbors, her classmates, the residents and staff of Atria Shaker, and the Angels from The Community Hospice.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 8:45 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Christ the King Church at 9:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 4:30 for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144, the American Cancer Society or Christ the King Church Building Fund in memory of Patricia A. Jones.
