Patricia A. Kunkle

Selkirk- Patricia A. Kunkle, 72, passed away peacefully on February 6th, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on October 10th, 1943 to the late Marcus and Marion (Perkins) Tricarico in Albany.
On November 10th, 1962 she married the late Fredrick L. Kunkle. They were married for 41 years. She worked for 26 years at Conifer Park in Scotia, NY before retiring.
Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege to know and love her. Her infectious laugh and beautiful smile will be sorely missed.
Pat is survived by her oldest son Daniel(Margaret); daughter Carrie; brother Bill; her grandchildren: Tylor, Zachary, Logan, Mackenzie, Sierra and Joshua and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her youngest son Kirt and brother Art.
Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, February 11 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will follow at 1pm. Burial will take place after the service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff at Albany Medical Center and St. Peter's Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
