November 5, 1936 — February 25, 2016
Slingerlands- Patricia A. Neilen , 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2016. Patricia was the daughter of the late Arthur Williams and Leona Williams.
Patricia loved to go out to eat, shop, go on day trips, and play cards. She cared for animals, movies, and especially enjoyed her son-in-law's cooking. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her daughter. She particularly enjoyed being able to spend last Christmas with her brother and sister.
Patricia will be forever missed by her daughter: Kim (Jim) Pigliavento; her son: Arthur (Mary) Knapp; her siblings: Helen VanMalderghem, Betty Richardson, and Bill (Diane) Williams; her three grand children: Artie, Anthony, and Gianna; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, on March 11th, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 pm.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the residence of Marie-Rose Manor for their love and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Patricia's name to: 3 Oakland Ave, Albany, NY, 12204.
