Albany – Patricia Alston, 77, passed away Sunday February 14, 2010 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Patricia was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alma Kuehn and was a lifelong area resident except for her years in service to her country as a Captain in the U S Marine Corps. She was also an elementary school teacher with the Rensselaer City Schools, retiring in 1990. Patricia was a loving mother, proud grandmother and great friend.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Alston, Beverly Alston McClellan (Robert), Robert Paul Alston and James William Alston, grandchildren: Max, Matthew and Ben McClellan and brother Robert Kuehn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:00am from New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to All Saints Catholic Church (previously St. Margaret Mary's Church), Albany where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am. Calling hours will be Friday 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
