ALBANY- Patricia McGarry Audi, age 75, passed away on November 8, 2022 after a brief illness.
She was born in Albany, daughter of the late James and Pearl McGarry.
Patti worked as a teacher at St. Jude the Apostle Elementary School in Wynantskill and then went on to teach at Greene County Correctional Facility, where she retired.
She loved to dance, hear live music and spend time with her family and friends. She had the Irish gift of gab and never met a stranger.
Patti is survived by her daughters: Tara Algozzine (Timothy) and Alicia Audi (Jakub Dragun); grandson, Jonah Cormie; siblings: James McGarry (Susan) and Mark McGarry. Also survived by many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Friday November 18, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral service following at 12 Noon. Entombment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patti's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110.
