Patricia Beattie

ALBANY-Patricia B. Beattie, 77 passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. She was born in Albany, NY the daughter of the late Stephen and Gertrude (Person) Fliegel. Patricia recently retired from Farnsworth Middle School as teacher's aide/monitor for over 25 years. She loved listening to music, gardening and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her children Deborah St. Louis (Willie), William Beattie (Martha) and Victor Beattie (Susan); grandchildren Heather St. Louis, Michael St. Louis (Tiffany Hotaling) and Stephen Beattie. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Jade St. Louis, Sierra St. Louis and Christian St. Louis, great great granddaughter Sariena Eve Stewart and by a brother Stephen Fliegel.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her husband William V. Beattie and by a sister Caroline (Fliegel) Maloney.
A special thanks to all her doctors and the staff at St. Peter's Hospital Hospice Inn for the care and compassion that she received during her illness.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead St. Albany.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
